There are 5 assignments to complete for the Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation. These are all straightforward to complete once you have completed the course, as we provide you with the information, templates, and examples you need to complete them successfully. For the formulations, we do expect you to have tried these out (i.e., you have made up the formulas to see what the product is like).

If anything you submit needs correcting or altering, the Cosmetic Scientist who marks them will let you know, and you can make the necessary changes and resubmit the assignments.

The details of the assignments are as follows, and more information can be found within your course, under the 'Assignments' section.

➡Assignment 1: Calculating a batch

Calculate a 250g batch of the Frankincense Cleansing Balm, which we shared with you as the formulation example in lesson 9.3.10 Formulation example: Frankincense Cleansing Balm.

If you need guidance on calculating different batch sizes, you can refer to lesson 6.8 Calculating batch sizes

➡Assignment 2: Varying a formula
