It is really important to us that you feel supported as a member of the Natural Cosmetic Formulation Club, so that you get the most out of your membership.
The two channels of support we offer are:
1). Technical and administrative assistance is provided by our customer service and student experience teams.
Please contact us by email at hello@schoolofnaturalskincare.com about any of the issues listed below. This is the fastest way to get these issues resolved. A member of our team checks emails each business day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays).
- Your account.
- The credit system.
- Accessing classes and resources within the Club.
- Technical issues with accessing materials or with logging into the Club.
- Your assignments (if applicable).
- Joining the community or Formulators’ Forum.
- The emails you receive.
- Any feedback you wish to share with us.
2) Tutor support from qualified, professional cosmetic scientists in our regular Tutor Q&A for the duration of your membership.
If you have questions about the course or class you are studying, you can ask them in our Club Q&A. Each week, our Cosmetic Scientists answer questions on classes within the Club in our Circle community.
You receive an invitation to join the community as part of your membership in the Natural Cosmetic Formulation Club.
You can use the Tutor Q&A to ask specific questions relating to your studies. Tutors will answer questions related to ingredients, formulas, product types, guidelines and methods covered within the curriculum of the course or class you are enrolled in.
Tutors will also provide troubleshooting advice if you are experiencing difficulty with a formula you are working on.
Support is not provided for questions that are beyond the scope of the course or class you are enrolled in, for example, questions about a more advanced product or ingredient, or a topic that is not covered in the course materials
For peer-to-peer support, you can post a question in the Community Hub in our online community. As the Community Hub is a place to reach out and discuss topics with other students, please do not tag tutors in these posts.
We encourage members to help each other – there is a wealth of knowledge to be found in the group! If you have experience or knowledge to contribute and can help another member, please do so.
On the last Thursday of each month, you will also have the opportunity to meet fellow members at our Formulators’ Forum.
These live, online sessions will be hosted by the School of Natural Skincare and offer an opportunity to come together to discuss topics that are important to your formulating studies. You will be able to connect with each other, ask questions and learn from one another’s experiences.
You can read more about the support available to you with your membership here. You may also find it useful to watch the Finding Support video in the Start Here section of the Club.
