The course we would recommend if you are particularly interested in anti-aging products is our Advanced Certificate in High-Performance Serum Formulation. It is our most advanced course and contains detailed information about advanced active ingredients including vitamins and their derivatives, peptides and ceramides, AHAs and BHAs, and active ingredients that are toning, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antimicrobial, skin brightening, skin barrier repairing, strengthening and offer sun protection.

You will learn a great deal about improving the visible signs of aging. Some level of reversing skin aging and damage is also possible with the help of certain high-performance ingredients.

You will learn to formulate six types of high-performance serum (oil-based serums, pressed serums, gel-based serums, emulsion-based serums, gel-cream serums and bi-phase serums) and how to formulate them to treat a range of skin concerns including anti-aging, antioxidant, soothing, calming, protective, hydrating, firming/toning, brightening, anti-pigmentation, repairing, oil balancing, pore-reduction, anti-pollution and more.

You will be able to formulate products tailored for aging skin using oils, humectants, antioxidants and botanical extracts, however the course is not as advanced as the Advanced Certificate in High-Performance Serum Formulation and does not teach you about as many active ingredients.
