All our courses are taught in English, and we have both native and non-native speakers enrolled on courses with us.
Our course materials are presented in a variety of means to accommodate students who may have a preference (or weakness) for a particular learning style. You'll find lessons presented as:
- Written text
- Presentation-style videos where a tutor talks through a lesson with a slideshow
- Practical demonstrations so you can see us making products
- Audios files
- Worksheets for you to complete
The good news is that you can use Google’s built-in tools to translate all the course materials and the video subtitles into your native language. Here’s how:
How to Translate the Course Text into your language
- Open the course page in Google Chrome.
- Right-click anywhere on the page and choose Translate to…
- Select your language.
- Chrome will then translate the entire page for you automatically.
How to Translate the Course Video Subtitles into your language
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More (three vertical dots), then choose Settings and Accessibility.
- Turn Live Caption on.
- If you want to get Live Captions in a language other than English:
- Next, turn on Live Translate, go to Translate captions to, and select your language from the drop-down list.
How to Translate a PDF from English into your language
- Download the PDF
- Go to: https://translate.google.com
- Click Documents.
- Click Browse your computer and upload your PDF.
- Choose the original language (English) and the language you want to translate into.
- Click Translate.
- Google will display a translated version you can read or download.
Note: Formatting may not stay perfect, but it's fast and simple.
We recommend taking a free trial of a course to get a sense of how the materials are presented and if you understand them.
